The Free State LEAVES Recon.

In a significant development, The Coinin Free State, led by El Duche Lapai and Grand Trip, has officially withdrawn from the "Recon" alliance. This decisive move was driven by several critical issues:

Reasons for Withdrawal:

  1. Favoritism by Higher Ups
  2. Poor Management
  3. Prevalence of Young Members and Communists
  4. Admin Abuse

Below are detailed examples of these concerns:

Favoritism by Higher Ups

The Coinin Free State faced continuous criticism for actions from three years ago, instigated by members Oreson and "Lily" from "Mabernia". These individuals accused Coinin members of severe misconducts, such as pedophilia, zoophilia, and Nazism, without any supporting evidence. When El Duche Lapai retaliated against these baseless claims by telling Lily to "Shut the fuck up," his response was censored, and he was reprimanded for disrespect. Meanwhile, the admin Willow did nothing to address the harassment of Coinin diplomats. This clear double standard highlights the favoritism within the higher ranks of Recon, where administrators failed to protect Coinin diplomats from such baseless attacks.

Poor Management

Administrative actions by Willow exemplified poor management. Willow's decision to blacklist terms like "Skibidi," "Rizz," and "Gyatt" was overly sensitive and unwarranted, especially since these terms are harmless. When a Coinin diplomat voiced their disagreement, they were unjustly muted despite not violating any rules. This action starkly contradicts the principles of free speech and open dialogue that Recon purportedly upholds. Furthermore, the discrepancy in enforcement between "Casual Chat" and "Assembly" discussions further emphasizes this mismanagement. Toaster had indicated that these words were acceptable in "Casual Chat," yet Willow's actions contradicted this, highlighting a lack of coherent policy and leadership.

Prevalence of Young Members and Communists

The Recon alliance is heavily populated by young members and individuals with communist ideologies. The presence of the hammer and sickle on many members' flags and the banning of right-wing ideologies highlight a significant bias. Nazism and Soviet Communism, particularly the Stalin era (which many members in the alliance support), are fundamentally similar. The environment was less about serious political discourse and more about frivolous activities like posting TikTok edits of fictional countries. One incident involved a young member blocking a Coinin diplomat during an argument and then showing screenshots of the conversation with the diplomat's messages removed, making it appear as if he won the argument. Additionally, Lily insulted a transgender diplomat from Coinin by referring to them as a man, despite their female identification.

Admin Abuse

The abuse of administrative power is evident throughout these incidents. Whether through unjust censorship, muting diplomats, or biased enforcement of rules, the administrators consistently demonstrated an abuse of their authority. The Coinin Free State's departure is a direct response to this pervasive issue. The support for Palestine by an abusive admin further reflects the hypocrisy and double standards within the alliance.

The Coinin Free State stands by its decision to leave Recon, seeking a more balanced and respectful environment for its members. This move underscores their commitment to fair treatment, free speech, and serious political discourse.
